States across the nation are implementing child welfare demonstration projects that hold real promise in better preventing and responding to child abuse and neglect. This congressional briefing will discuss the specifics behind these recent State efforts to achieve better outcomes for vulnerable children and families through Title IV-E child welfare demonstration projects (also known as waivers).
