What is the one thing you wish people knew about the foster care system from your perspective.
I wished people knew that just because a child may be a foster youth doesn't mean that the kid doesn't want be your next doctor, attorney, or maybe even President. No matter the circumstances, each foster child deserves for someone to believe in them and push them to be extraordinary.
What was the key takeaway from your experience of Foster Youth Shadow Day last year?

I also learned that we all have a voice, but it is truly up to the individual to use it. I was able to meet and build lifelong connections, and I pray that all the youth following our group developed the same permanent connections
